Derek Cunningham
Derek has worked in journalism, public relations and government affairs and has advised on many high profile and contentious matters in public life of the last three decades. His insights and understanding of media and the policy landscape offers clients valued counsel and expertise across the full range of PR and communications challenges including the assessment and management of crisis situations and reputational risk.
He has served as Special Adviser to An Tánaiste and Minister for Health, Mary Harney, in two Irish governments where he led communications, media strategy and planning on major health policy reform. He was Head of Communications at the Irish Farmers’ Association - Ireland’s largest representative organization. He was also a senior broadcast journalist with RTE News and editor of its leading news and current affairs programs including Morning Ireland and the News at One. Derek was a news reporter with leading national and provincial newspaper titles.

Jim Devlin
Jim has advised leading Irish and international organisations on communications strategy and stakeholder engagement across a range of business critical matters. He is recognised for has deft handling of often sensitive and contentious matters of behalf of clients engaged in significant matters of national importance. As Managing Director of FTI Consulting’s Strategic Communications practice in Dublin for over a decade, Jim has advised many of the market leaders in financial services, real estate, health insurance, biopharma, renewable energy and and technology sectors.
He has advised government agencies and has provided PR, corporate communications and public affairs advice to Vodafone Ireland, Shire Pharmaceuticals, the Health Insurance Authority, and IPUT plc. His has also advised the Special Liquidators of Irish Bank Resolution Corporation Ltd (in special liquidation) on PR surrounding their sale of over €21 billion of loan assets. organisations managing fundamental challenges to their business including the fallout of Ireland’s recent banking and financial crisis. Jim served as Executive Secretary to of the National Industrial and Farm Business Committees of the Irish Farmers’ Association - Ireland’s largest representative organisation and one of the most influential bodies in the agri-food sector in Europe. He trained as a Chartered Accountant having trained and worked with KPMG in Dublin. and worked with Teagasc, Ireland’s agricultural research and farm advisory body.
